With the release of Inazuma, the game has been filled with plenty of new quests, explorable areas, and collectibles for players to experience, and the new Memento Lens is necessary for finding some of this new content.

The Memento Lens is a gadget necessary for unlocking hidden areas in Inazuma. It can be obtained through the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual quest, brought upon by speaking to the mysterious masked Shrine Maiden. This will begin the quest ‘A Strange Story in Konda,’ where the maiden will task the traveler with solving the mystery of the nearby town.

Where To Find The Memento Lens In Genshin Impact

Once ‘A Strange Story in Konda’ in Genshin Impact is complete, the player will be able to begin the quest that will give them Memento Lens. The Shrine Maiden will tell the traveler to find the Abandoned Shrine near Konda Village on Narukami Island. This shrine is just northeast of the village. Once players arrive, they should follow the path to the top area, where they will find a large kitsune statue. Interacting with this statue will begin the investigation of the area.

Mysterious shadows in the shape of the shrine maiden will appear, and players must begin interacting with them. Once Paimon stops making unique comments about the maidens, interact with them in a specific order. The map above has all the shadows locations marked, along with what order they should be spoken to in.

Most of the shadows are relatively easy to spot. However, the third one can be difficult to find at first. This maiden is located on top of the main shrine, at the far left edge of the roof. Besides her, the other maidens will be easy to talk to, as they are all located on the ground. After this, the player must go speak to Inagi the Shrine Maiden at the Grand Narukami Shrine. By doing this, Inagi will give the player the Memento Lens, a gadget used to uncover hidden secrets throughout the world.

Using the Memento Lens in Genshin Impact is relatively easy. First, equip it like with all other gadgets. The Memento Lens works by pointing at an Earth Kitsune statue – the small fox statues with purple detailing found throughout Inazuma. Doing this can reveal hidden areas, or give the player a random artifact. The Memento Lens is also used to complete the Araumi Sacred Sakura Cleansing, and to unlock the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain, so players are going to need this item if they want to experience all they can in Inazuma.
