Here are some helpful tips for getting started in NEO: The World Ends With You
- Alternate Pins Often: With over 300 Pins to collect, players should cycle them out once they get maxed out. This will provide players with tons of gameplay variety.
- The Social Network: On Day 4, players will unlock access to the Social Network. These side quests will reward players with Friend Points to spend on new moves and abilities.
- Threads and Dining: These two will increase the player’s Style, Attack, and Defense. Leveling up will only increase total HP. Look into threads often to see which ones are trending for the day.
- Changing Difficult: At any point during the game, players can change their difficulty. This functions differently than other games since this title provides bonuses depending on the difficulty. For lower difficultly, players will be able to obtain more Pins.
Players should play the first entry in the series before jumping into this one. While this is a new set of characters, older ones do make an appearance, and having the context of the whole thing will make the experience better.
