New Time To Walk episodes are coming soon to Apple Fitness+ subscribers. Here are just some of the guests you can expect to catch in the new episodes.
Apple’s Fitness+ subscribers are set to get a selection of new Time To Walk episodes that they can listen to on their Apple Watch. Time To Walk is a weekly audio-based series geared toward helping Fitness+ users stay active by going on walks, and feature celebrities including musicians like Dolly Parton and Shawn Mendes, NBA player Draymond Green, and actress Uzo Aduba. Episodes range between 25 and 40 minutes, and are available from the Watch’s Workout app.
First announced in September of 2020, Fitness+ is a subscription-based service priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 each year. On offer is a wide range of home-workout options, like Cycling and Yoga, and each one can be modified to fit the user’s individual skill level. Introduced in January of this year, Time To Walk adds meaningful images and motivational playlists. The Apple Watch has always focused on health and fitness, with some of the more recent additions including the ability to measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels. With the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7, users may even be able to measure their blood glucose levels as well.
Apple confirmed the new Time To Walk episodes will be available beginning June 28 with Jane The Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez who will be discussing building body confidence, along with “feeling part of a community” and important lessons learned from family. In addition to the new episodes, Apple will also be launching the Artist Spotlight series as well. Unlike the episodes, each Artist Spotlight is an entire playlist that’s dedicated to an individual artist. Some of the names Apple Fitness+ subscribers can expect include Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Lady Gaga.
Other Time To Walk Guests
In addition to Gina Rodriguez, supermodel and activist Naomi Campbell is one of the guests, as is actor and writer Stephen Fry, who also narrates the UK version of the Harry Potter audiobooks. Time to Watch Episodes will also feature two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World Anthony Joshua and Joan Benoit Samuelson, who won gold in the first women’s Olympic marathon. Fans of FX’s Pose can look forward to hearing from Michaela Jae Rodriguez, who played Blanca. Emmy, Tony and Grammy-winner Cynthia Erivo will also have an episode, along with Marsai Martin from Black-ish, who is the youngest executive producer in Hollywood. Listeners familiar with CNN will probably recognize chief medical correspondent and practicing neurosurgeon, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, while Randall Park from Fresh Off The Boat, Wandavision and Aquaman will also appear in an episode.
With the next batch of Time To Walk episodes now only days away, as well as the launch of the new Artist Spotlight series, it might be a good time for Apple Watch wearers who haven’t given Apple Fitness+ a try to do so. In order to listen to Time To Walk episodes, users will need a pair of Bluetooth headphones that are paired to their Apple Watch, such as AirPods.
