The Best Builds And Promotions For The Frostweaver Class In Crowfall

The Frostweaver class in Crowfall can be played with the races Fae, High-Elf, and Wood-Elf. Frostweavers also have access to leather armor and Frostcasters. The most efficient DPS Frostweaver race is High-Elf and the most efficient healer race is Wood-Elf, although any race can be used with any of the class builds. Frostweavers have the unique ability to create and weave different forms of ice together to cause various effects in battle. Frostweavers have three promotions that serve as subclass builds in the talent tree: Archmage, Icecaller, and Frostguard.

Archmage Promotion

The Archmage promotion is a classic DPS mage/caster class that deals damage from a distance. Archmages gain extra attack power, elemental penetration, and ice damage bonus. Archmages also gain access to the move Death Shard, which consumes a single Ice Shard to do massive damage and apply frostbite to an enemy. Archmages can also spawn Volatile Ice on enemies when using Shatter Storm, which reduces the enemies’ anti-critical strike rating. Archmages’ altered Crystal Lance and Ice Lance do execute damage on 45% of the enemy’s health rather than 35%. Archmages have access to the Storm, Frost, or Protection domain. The best major disciplines for Archmages are Frozen Dancer and Ice Armorer. The best minor disciplines are Finish Him and Cold Armor.

Icecaller Promotion

The Icecaller promotion is a healer build in Crowfall. Players will still deal damage, but searching for the best weapons in the game is not all that applicable to a pure healer like the Icecaller. Icecallers are able to restore health with Cool Ice and Chillout, while their Refreshing Ice has a quicker heal time.
