The Trespassers are not the only aliens invading the FortniteSeason 7 map; now, wildlife and players may be infected by Alien Parasites during a match. Alien Parasites in Fortnite Season 7 are pink, floating creatures that travel in swarms of around a dozen at a time. They hatch from clusters of green eggs located around the map, often near areas that have begun deteriorating to purple. When they attack, they may latch onto a player’s head, draining their HP down to 60, even through any shields. However, they also provide some unique buffs that can help players gain an advantage in combat, as long as they are not removed. One two-part Fortnite Season 7 Legendary Quest during Week 5 tasks players with getting an Alien Parasite infection and going to talk to NPC Sunny at Believer Beach.

Alien Parasites are most likely to attach to the wildlife found around the Fortnite map during Season 7, so players should search for infected chickens, boars, and wolves. While they can spawn almost anywhere, there are a few locations where players may have the best luck finding such creatures. They will need to kill the host without killing the Alien Parasite to get the alien to choose them as its next target. Here’s how to get infected by an Alien Parasite in Fortnite Season 7.

How To Find Infected Animals In Fortnite Season 7

The most efficient way players can get an infection from an Alien Parasite in Fortnite Season 7 is to seek out and kill infected animals. While the wildlife in Fortnite does tend to wander, there are a few places players can look to have the best chance of finding chickens, boars, or wolves. Chickens are most plentiful at the farms northeast of Corny Complex, the area south of Believer Beach, and at the Corny Complex named location. Boars are most common in the area south of Believer Beach and south of Corny Complex, though they can be found almost anywhere. Wolves most often spawn on the east side of Weeping Woods and just northwest of Lazy Lake.

Listening for animal sounds can often point players in the correct direction. When they come across an animal that has been infected with an Alien Parasite, players will notice that it looks like their head has been replaced by the alien. Players will need to shoot the infected animal with careful aim so as not to accidentally hit and kill the Parasite. This usually means avoiding headshots.

When the animal dies, players can approach, and the Alien Parasite will latch onto them. Their HP will go down to 60, but they will have the low gravity jump effect and be impervious to headshots. To remove an Alien Parasite, all players need to do is jump into water, walk through fire, or enter a prop on the map. However, to complete this Week 5 Legendary Quest, players will need to talk to Sunny at Believer Beach before removing the Alien Parasite, or they won’t receive their rewards. She can be found east of the Pier, walking around the strange markings in the sand.

Once players finish speaking with Sunny, the challenge will complete, and players are free to remove the Alien Parasite. After removal, they will need to use healing items to regain their typical HP. They will receive 30,000 XP toward their Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass for completing this task.

In Team Rumble, players respawn if they are eliminated, something that could easily happen while they are hunting infected wildlife.
