The Silver Coast Casino: Infiltration mission in Mass Effect 3: Citadel resembles Kasumi’s Loyalty mission in Mass Effect 2 somewhat. During the mission, Shepard will need to do their best to blend in at a party while following Brooks’ instructions over comms. They will need to help her bypass security and evade both CCTV cameras and guards to allow her deeper into the facility. To do this, Shepard will need to time their moves and have their selected partner try to distract guards with idle conversation. Players will need to be mindful of Shepard’s Security Threat level, as the more obvious they are during the infiltration, the more likely they are to be spotted and stopped. Here’s how to help Brooks infiltrate the Silver Coast Casino in Mass Effect 3: Citadel.

How To Evade The Cameras And Guards In Mass Effect 3: Citadel

Shepard’s chosen squadmate will be a major asset in helping Brooks infiltrate the Casino in Mass Effect 3: Citadel. Brooks is a mandatory squadmate, but players can choose whoever else they prefer. While this is a decision largely up to a player’s preference for banter, players should consider bringing Shepard’s love interest, if present, for unique dialogue at the start of the mission.

The infiltration mainly requires players to do four things:

• Mingle with Guests
• Disable/Bypass Junction Boxes and Security Devices
• Bypass Cameras
• Distract Guards with Conversation

Ahead of the mission, Liara will give Shepard special lenses that allow them to see the wiring under the floor and in the walls of the casino and the viewing range of both guards and cameras. Players will need to follow the specific wire colors to reach their destinations and complete their goals and avoid the visual cones while helping Brooks. Most of the time, Shepard will be instructed either by Liara, EDI, or Brooks. This is helpful when needing to follow a certain color wire or to know when to stop mingling and begin the next phase of the infiltration. Generally, it is best to follow these instructions carefully to avoid rousing guard and guest suspicions.

During the first stage of the infiltration, players simply need to mingle with guests and bypass a few junction boxes. Bypassing simply requires players to approach the object and interact with it. There are no mini-games to complete, but the process will take several seconds. Players should make absolutely certain they won’t be noticed during that time, or the bypass process will not complete and Shepard will be deemed suspicious.

In the second stage, they will need to follow the wiring to the varren races and roulette tables. They will need their squadmate to help distract the guards so they can bypass the security cameras and disable security devices. In the final, most difficult stage of the infiltration, Shepard and their squadmate will need to deal with two guards and two security cameras covering a majority of a very small room.

Typically, if there is a guard standing stationary and another patrolling, Shepard’s best bet is to have their squadmate distract the stationary guard. Then, Shepard can make their move while the patrolling guard is farthest away. Players will need to act quickly to avoid being seen. Any time Shepard is noticed doing something potentially suspicious, their Security Threat level increases. To lower it, they will need to find a gala guest and mingle immediately or hop on any of the Casino mini-games to earn or lose a few credits until the meter goes back down. If they don’t, they will receive a critical mission failure.

Once players manage to clear the third stage, they have succeeded in infiltrating the Silver Coast Casino. They will meet Brooks in Elijah’s panic room to continue the main story of Mass Effect 3: Citadel. Shepard will have several more chances to visit the Casino and gamble or meet allies for a night out after the main story of the Citadel DLC has been completed.
