Throughout the course of Scarlet Nexus players will face many difficult enemies. This guide shows how to defeat Naomi Randall in Osukuni Station.
The world of Scarlet Nexus is one filled to the brim with dangerous mutated enemies that the player will need to stay on their toes if they hope to bring them down. Players will need to make use of many powerful attacks with both normal weapons and telekinetic abilities to defeat each of these enemies. As time goes on things will continue to grow more difficult and defeating opponents can get very complicated.
One of the most difficult aspects of the game is defeating the game’s many different powerful bosses. These enemies are more powerful than any of their counterparts and can dish out huge amounts of damage against players before they even know what hit them. One of these bosses is Naomi Randall, who can be a very powerful boss to defeat no matter how skilled a player is at the game. This guide shows players how to defeat Naomi Randall.
Scarlet Nexus: How To Beat Naomi Randall
During the Osukuni Station section of the game, players will eventually come across Naomi Randall, who will transform into a massive Other that they must defeat. Naomi isn’t a very fast boss, but she hits extremely hard and the fight has two phases. The second phase in particular can be a real pain, so players will need to have fast reflexes and plenty of healing items in their inventory.
Phase One
During the first phase of the fight against Naomi, there isn’t too much to worry about. She mostly just swings slow and easy to dodge attacks at the player, so all they need to do is rush in for a few attacks before running outside of her range before she can counterattack. The player can also use their telekinesis abilities to hit her with objects around the room to deal extra damage and keep their combo up while avoiding attacks. The player does need to keep an eye out for her AOE attack though as this can cause a lot of damage and send them flying backward. If Naomi growls and starts to rise up it means she will be about to use her AOE attack, so get back as quickly as possible.
The idea is to deal as much damage as possible to cause Naomi to fall on her side. This means she is stunned and the player can quickly rush in to attack without worrying about getting hit. She will eventually get back up and the player should go back to attacking and retreating before they get hit back. They can then keep this up until Naomi drops below a quarter of her health and triggers the second phase of the fight.
Phase Two
This is the part of the fight that players will need to be concerned about. Naomi becomes much more aggressive and persistent during the second phase, she picks up a few new abilities, and she even regains all of her health. Players will also notice that there will be a crush meter underneath her health bar now as well. As soon as the second phase begins Naomi will launch a series of spikes into the ground that will travel all around the arena, and shoot back out of the ground in random areas. Players will need to dodge out of the way of these attacks to avoid taking considerable damage.
She will then begin using either a lunge or slam attack to deal damage to the player. After dodging these there will be a short window for the player to rush in and deal some damage to the boss. Keep this up until Naomi throws dust in the air to make it difficult to see. The player should then use their Clairvoyance ability to try and keep an eye on here and continue the fight as normal. After dealing enough damage the crush meter will max out and the player can use Brain Crush to deal a huge amount of damage to the boss. At this point, her health should be very low and a few more rounds of avoiding her attacks and countering should finish her off in no time at all.
